Maribel Tafur is a renowned composer, music designer and audio branding specialist focused on multisensory experiences, spaces and immersive projects. She has 12 years of experience working with the world's leading brands and innovative concepts in the gastronomy, luxury hospitality, fashion and retail sectors.

Among her clients are Central (No. 1 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2023) by chef Virgilio Martínez, Kjolle by chef Pía León (World's Best Female Chef 2021), Maz (2 Michelin stars), Mil, Mauka, Olluco, as well as the luxury hotel brands Belmond, La Casa de la Playa by Xcaret, and Explora.

Maribel has been included by Forbes in the '50 most creative people in Peru' list. In 2011 she founded Intune, an audio branding studio and in-store music provider based in Peru that has developed projects for more than 80 brands in America, Asia and Europe.

Original soundscapes composition for the two Michelin-Starred dining experience Maz, located in Tokyo. Runned by chef Santiago Fernandez, Maz interprets the Peruvian natural environment from the vertical perspective of altitude, from the Pacific coast through the Amazon to the Andes.

A record production for Belmond hotel brand that included original compositions based on the sounds of the biodiversity that surrounds the hotel Sanctuary Lodge, located in Machu Picchu. This work seeks to extend the sensory experience of the guest while paying tribute to the majesty of this Peruvian destination.
